Who We Are

Ephesian Church Of God In Christ is a thriving multi-cultural, multi-generational church that seeks to impact the world through faith and excellence. “Our mission is to help people know Jesus, become committed and empowered disciples, better our community, and change our world!”

 

Ephesian is led by Senior Pastor, Bishop Johnathan D. Logan, Sr. Bishop Logan is a prolific teacher and preacher of God’s Word, in addition to being a gifted writer. Through his anointed ministry, many persons have been brought to faith in Christ, healed and set free. Assisting him is his lovely wife, Dr. Carolyn L. J. Logan who is a gifted psalmist and worship leader in addition to also being a gifted teacher of God’s Word. Together, they form a dynamic husband-wife ministry team God is using to raise up effective leaders for this and future generations. We are blessed to have them as our leaders.

 

Ephesian also has a wonderful leadership staff which supports and undergirds the vision of the ministry. They, along with the entire Helps Ministry Team are making a significant impact and difference by empowering people to experience the limitless possibilities afforded them in Christ Jesus.

Our current ministry theme is, “The Year of Breaking Forth into His Promises: A New Season of Expansion, Increase and Impact!” taken from Isaiah 54:2-3. We know that an understanding of this timely truth is a necessary mandate for obtaining all that God has for His Church in this pivotal moment in time. And so, we invite your prayers as we endeavor to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) and bring people into the family of God through the ministry He has given us!

STATEMENT OF FAITH

  • We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written Word of God.
  • We believe that there is One God, eternally existent in three Persons; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
  • We believe in the Blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ at His return.
  • We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin, is through repentance, faith in the precious Blood of Jesus Christ and being baptized in water.
  • We believe that regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation.
  • We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing in prayer.
  • We believe that the baptism in the Holy Ghost, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.
  • We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to live a Holy and separated life in this present world, Amen.
